About Us
Starvation Alley Farms, has 10 acres of cranberry bogs located on the Long Beach Peninsula, between the Pacific Ocean and Willapa Bay. Founded in 2013, Starvation Alley’s aim is to produce sustainably grown cranberries of exceptional quality while supporting neighboring farmers to do the same "Starvation Alley," endearingly nicknamed during the Great Depression, historically housed day-laborers of the local cranberry & oyster industries. SA kept the name as an homage to the hard-working farmers who worked came before them and are proud to say that land that was the state's first organic cranberry farm.” Our growing practices have remained the same, aligning with the core values of organically grown sustainable methods.
