About Us
BeeWorks Farm maintains a few hundred honey bee colonies in Whatcom County. Our main focus at BeeWorks is producing the best quality and best tasting honey around and maintaining strong healthy hives. We achieve this by paying special attention to the bloom cycle of nectar producing plants and make sure our hives are strong and ready to go when the bloom occurs. Additionally, hives are moved throughout the season to follow the bloom higher into the mountains. By fall all hives are moved near to sea level for over wintering. We use a careful mix integrated pest management controls.
