About Us

Mama’s Garden is a small, family-run farm located in the South Fork Valley of Deming, Washington. Built on over 20 years of hard work and shared vision, our farm is operated by three women—Kim, Kelly, and Renee—each bringing different strengths together to create something rooted in trust, honesty, and community.

We raise and produce a variety of farm goods including fresh eggs, grass-fed beef, seasonal produce, and Big Leaf maple syrup. Everything we offer is handled with care and intention, from how our animals are raised to how our products are harvested, processed, and shared. We believe in doing things the right way —not the fastest or easiest way—and that shows in the quality of the food we provide.

At the heart of Mama’s Garden is a commitment to transparency. We believe people should know where their food comes from and who is behind it. Our farm stand operates on an honor system, reflecting the trust we place in our community and the relationships we’ve built over time.

We are also deeply connected to our local food system. In addition to our own products, we support and collaborate with other local farms and producers, helping create a network where small farms can grow together rather than compete. We believe there is room for everyone at the table.

For us, farming is more than a business—it’s a way of life. It’s raising food we are proud to feed our own families and sharing that with our community.

At Mama’s Garden, our goal is simple: to provide honest food, grown with care, and rooted in something real.

Practices

At Mama’s Garden, our farming practices are rooted in simplicity, transparency, and doing things the right way—even when it requires more time and hands-on work. We are a small, family-run farm, and our egg production reflects a commitment to quality over quantity.

Our flock is cared for every single day, without exception. Eggs are collected daily to ensure freshness, and our chickens are checked multiple times throughout the day for health, safety, and overall well-being. This hands-on approach allows us to stay closely connected to our animals and quickly respond to any changes.

We provide our hens with a consistent, quality feed to support their health and egg production, while also allowing them to supplement their diet through natural foraging. This balance contributes to the rich, nutrient-dense eggs we are known for.

Our maple syrup production is rooted in patience, stewardship, and a deep respect for the natural rhythms of the Pacific Northwest. Harvesting Big Leaf Maple syrup is not about control—it’s about working with nature, paying attention, and showing up every day to do things the right way.
